The Union of Schools (skolesammenslutningen, Ligeværd)

The aim of this union of schools is to promote equality in all areas of life and to further educational options for children, youths and adults with special needs. Among the members are folk high schools, continuation schools, house-holding schools, production schools and municipal and regional special schools. But the union also has a broader goal. All members of the Union of Schools endeavour to work for the whole person. Optimally, the special needs citizen should feel that all aspects of his or her life are taken equally seriously by the people and organisations created to assist them.
